1. What Pagio is

Pagio is a personal reading companion for physical books. It helps you keep track of what you're reading, reflect on it, and see your reading over time.

Pagio is currently operated by an individual based in Hungary and is provided on a best-effort basis.

2. Who can use Pagio

Pagio is intended for personal use. You must create an account to use the service.

By using Pagio, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login details secure
  • all activity that happens under your account

Please don't share your account with others or misuse the service. If you sign in with Google, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service.

4. Your data and content

All reading data, notes, and other content you add to Pagio belong to you.

Pagio does not claim ownership over your content. You grant Pagio permission to store and process your data only to provide the service to you.

5. Availability and data safety

Pagio is provided "as is" and "as available".

Reasonable care is taken to keep your data safe, including regular backups, but no system is perfect. Pagio cannot guarantee that data will never be lost, interrupted, or unavailable.

6. Changes and future features

Pagio is an evolving product.

Features may change, be added, or removed over time. Some features may require payment in the future, but there are no paid features at this time.

If pricing or paid plans are introduced later, they will be clearly communicated.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • use Pagio for illegal purposes
  • attempt to break, overload, or misuse the service
  • interfere with other users or the system

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pagio is not liable for:

  • lost data
  • lost time
  • indirect or consequential damages

Using Pagio is your choice and responsibility.

9. Termination

You may stop using Pagio at any time.

Pagio may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service or violate these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
